Professional Ratings
Independent ratings establish the underlying performance level and ability of each runner.
Research · Assessment · Discipline
Form Factor does not rely on a single rating, opinion or model. Multiple independent layers of racing intelligence are brought together within one disciplined assessment process.
Every Form Factor Selection is earned through the combined intelligence of the Form Factor System™.
Independent ratings establish the underlying performance level and ability of each runner.
Recorded form and results reveal recurring profiles, strengths, risks and opportunities.
Race shape, opposition, conditions and the circumstances behind a performance are assessed together.
Qualifying runners are compared with the patterns identified through years of research.
Proprietary decision support cross-references the evidence consistently across the meeting.
Every qualifying runner is subjected to additional testing before becoming an Official Selection.
The Matrix brings ratings, research, analyst insight, profile recognition, algorithmic support, cross-referencing and filtering into one structured process. Proprietary rules and weighting remain protected.

Selections produced by the proprietary System rules after the runner has satisfied the required combination of ratings, form evidence and qualifying criteria.
Runners that started favourite at their previous start and were beaten, but whose underlying performance and current profile indicate a credible improvement opportunity.
Highly rated runners whose profile and form assessment placed them well up in the market at their previous run or runs.
Runners identified by the data and ratings process as credible contenders, even when they do not qualify under another named Form Factor.
Last-start winners whose victory, opposition, race circumstances and current setup satisfy the additional Form Factor tests. Not every last-start winner qualifies.
A beaten favourite with relevant official steward-report circumstances that help explain the previous result and support reassessment today.
A favoured runner whose previous performance was affected by circumstances recorded in the official steward report and may improve under today’s conditions.
Runners with sufficient credentials to be considered for multi-place bets and exotics. Although our assessment indicates these horses do not rate as highly as our selected winning prospects or top-rated runners, they may finish in the top four, can occasionally surprise and are often available at good odds. We suggest considering them in your next exotic or multi-place play.
The Form Factor System identifies horses whose previous performances were influenced by race circumstances recorded in official steward reports. When those circumstances suggest a horse can improve under today’s conditions, the runner may qualify as a Steward Report Form Factor.
Every qualifying runner is subjected to additional testing before becoming an Official Selection. Codes such as BFF, LSWF, FRSRF and SysF identify filtered qualifiers and show what the System deliberately rejected.

No single Form Factor automatically creates a bet. Qualifying evidence is assessed together, cross-referenced and filtered before an Official Selection is produced.
